Artificial Intelligence Research Initiative was created in 2023 as a response to the rapid rise of the global topic of artificial intelligence development, especially chatbots. It was initiated at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, as a platform bringing together academics interested in the topic of artificial intelligence.
The great strength of the initiative is its interdisciplinary nature, as it brings together academics across disciplines, due to the importance and impact of AI on all areas of society.
The activities of the Initiative replicate the three roles of the University:
Educational
delivering lectures/conferences/roundtables for students, the public, government, local authorities, private sector
Scientific
Social
providing consultancy to public and private sector
popularizing the Initiative and artificial intelligence in society
Institutionalization of the platform in the form of a council of the Government
